My FaVouRiTe DiSH

My favourite dish is one of the western foods like Chicken Chop. If I am on limited budget but still want western food, Chicken Chop is the one I usually go for. I also can take mushroom soup as well when ordered in a set. Super tender chicken wrapped in a crunchy batter, smothered in a rich tomato mushroom sauce. I’m not really sure why they call it Chicken Chop – maybe because there’s pork chop and lamb chop, so why not call it chicken chop?

So, I decided to try to make my own. After several failed attempts, I finally got the recipe how I like it (and how I remember it) so I’m really excited to share this with my blogger.

  • 2 chicken thighs, deboned and pounded to medium thickness
  • Flour, for dusting
  • 2 eggs,beaten
  • 70 g breadcrumbs
  • Oil for cooking
  • Marinade
  • Soy sauce
  • Worchestershire sauce
  • Black pepper

  • Mushroom sauce (optional)
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 50 g button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
